Offices designed and built for Online Asset, a private equity company: a boardroom with a long table for the partners, an open-plan floor along the glass facade, private offices for the directors, a pantry and a lounge corner. Warm wood, dark joinery and integrated lighting, so the space reads as one firm rather than a rented floor.
Offices for a finance company have to convey discretion and permanence before anything else, which is why the brief was answered with materials rather than decoration: solid wood, dark joinery, stone and glass, and lighting built into the ceilings and the furniture. As on every commercial project, Elper Development carried the concept, the permits, the construction and the fit-out under one contract, with milestone payments and a documented handover.
The area: Bali
Bali’s villa market is really three or four markets: the Canggu coast for year-round rentals and resale liquidity, Ubud for longer stays in the hills, the Bukit and Uluwatu for cliff views and proximity to the airport, and quieter corners of the island where land is still priced for the long term. Each has its own guest profile, its own season and its own zoning rules.
We build in the areas we know from the ground: our office is in Berawa, Canggu, and our estate is in Ubud. For this project, the exact location and the surrounding lots are shared during a call, along with the land documents.
